4-Wheeler Rides

Now that it's a tiny bit cooler in the evenings we have been going on some fun 4-wheeler rides out to old Simplot to play in the sand.

Fun at Home

Now that it's just me and Anna home in the mornings for a couple hours we are finding some fun things to do together - like cook!
 Anna's creations….

Yummy!

Anna's First Day of Preschool

Anna finally started her preschool. It was canceled last week because of the flooding so today was her first day. She has been so excited.

She finally got to wear her backpack somewhere like the boys do.
As we got closer and closer she got more and more nervous though.
She decided she wasn't quite sure if she wanted to go or not.
I had her go out on the playground real quick and take a few pictures.
That perked her up a little bit.
Inside it was fun to see the decorations and all the toys they have.
Once it was time to sit down and do some work though she decided she definitely didn't want to do preschool any more.
Jackson and I did our best to convince her that she was going to have a good time.
Finally we got her to sit down and start writing her name.
When I went to leave she grabbed on to my shirt and wouldn't let go! I finally tore free and left - I knew she would be just fine once I was gone.
Sure enough when I got back she was doing great.

She ended up loving it after all!

Glasses

Isaac has been feeling very tired and yucky for a couple of months. I took him to the Dr. and had some tests done and everything was fine. Finally I decided to take him to the eye Doctor. Dr. Jensen said his right eye doesn't focus at all with his left. That since he has been born he has only been using his left eye to see. It is amazing that he does so well in school! I made him try on at least ten different pairs and these are the glasses he chose. We are still waiting for them to come in the mail and we really hope that they will help him start to feel better and have less headaches.

The Flood

We got over 4 inches of rain within a couple of hours and it was flooding all around us. This is the dam up behind Grandma and Grandpas house. The power was out for hours and we ended up sleeping at Grandma and Grandpas house because our neighborhood was close to flooding. The kids were pretty nervous when I woke them up out of bed and had them get in the car. The drive to Grandmas was pretty scary, some of the highway was running water. The next day everyone said it was something they will always remember and they were glad I woke them up.

Isaac's Baptism

Isaac was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on September 6th, 2014. He was so excited for this day and so happy when it finally came.
Somehow my pictures from that day got deleted off of my camera - I was one sad momma. My Dad had a few pictures that I got from the actual baptism day and these pictures of him in his jumpsuit are ones I took a few days after. Isaac is one amazing boy and has a strong testimony of the gospel. I am so proud of him.

I took these on a Sunday morning before church so Anna and Jackson were in their church clothes.

This one is a little blurry but too cute to not put in.
 Such good kids.
I asked Jackson to take a picture of me and Isaac and he cut off my head. I'm snapping my fingers at him saying…"point it up higher!"

My Dads pictures from his baptism day.
 Isaac and his Daddy.
 Elise and Allie.
Anna and Randy.
 A shot of everyone there.
I wish I wouldn't have lost the pictures of Isaac and Corey. Uncle Corey baptized him and Grandpa Jack confirmed him. It was a great day and we could feel the spirit so strong.

Cub Scouts

Isaac had his first day of Cub Scouts. He was so excited to go. His leaders are great and he has already passed off his scout oath.
