Our Summer in Oregon

This summer I decided to go with the kids to Oregon. It was the first time for me and the kids to fly on an airplane together. (they have flown with me when they were babies but don't remember) We left on June 26th early in the morning. I stayed with them at Grandma Penny's until July 4th when their Dad got there and then they stayed another 10 days with their Dad. They loved their summer in Oregon!

They were so good in the airport. People kept commenting on how well behaved they were. (I think they were just enough nervous that they made sure to do exactly what I said)

They loved looking our the big windows at the plane we were going to get on.
I love this picture of Isaac and Jackson holding hands.

On board! The kids sat by each other and I sat across the isle from them.
They did amazing.

An hour and 45 minutes later we were at the Eugene airport. Aunt Karissa picked us up - it was so good to see her.
We finally made it out to Grandma Penny's house an the fun began!

Jenna Jo has grown so much - she LOVES to play dress up.
It was so fun to go into Grandmas garden when ever you wanted and pick marion berries and blue berries. We ate SO many!
There are so many neat places to play and explore. It's a kid heaven.

 Grandma showing Isaac her strawberries.
Jackson LOVES their dog names Basil. He plays with him all day and sleeps with him at night.

Grandma always has yummy food and snacks.

They love playing on the deck.

Aunt Karissa bought them fun little airplanes to fly off the deck. Weston and Isaac had a great time playing together.
The chair swings under the deck.
Grandma put a buch of toys to play with under the deck.

We played and played on the giant swing set.

Isaac and Westons most favorite thing to do is play video games together on their kindles.
 Jenna Jo all wore out.
It's super fun to play on Grandmas stair too.

The table was always set up with arts and crafts.
 Jackson loving Basil.
This year Grandma Penny and Grandpa Norm had made a pool out of hay bales and a tarp - the kids loved it!
Of course the golf cart is always a big hit too.

Anna and Jackson playing hide and go seek on the deck.
On Sunday Grandma let us take her car and we went into town to church. Amazingly we happened to show up to the same ward that I was in when I lived there almost 8 years ago. We sat right next to the friends that we became close with when we lived there.
On the way back to Grandmas we stopped at the river, felt the water and walked around. It is absolutely amazing how beautiful it is there.

Isaac took these pictures and when i got home and looked at this one I had to crop Anna out because unknown to me she was lifting her dress up over her head. …..Silly girl.

We tried not to get dirty but it wasn't easy.

Jackson is always so sweet and picks his Mom flowers.

There was a neat path that we explored though the forest next to the river.
