Summertime Fun

After moving to Mesquite in June we did all kinds of fun things during the summer. 

 Played in our pool

 acted silly

 swam in the Virgin River (this is when I took Jackson on his Mommy Date. I take each kid on their own little date and Jackson chose to go to the river.)

 We LOVED playing at the new Mesquite splash pad. Our cousins and friends from Logandale met us there quite a bit. 

 We also loved to walk across the street and play on the High School track and football field. 

 And slide down the grassy hills. 

 We love swimming at the Rec Center swimming pool. 

 Sometimes we took our neighbor friends with us. 

 More swimming with neighbor friends. (Janessa)

 Bailee and I watched a lot of pretty sunsets. 

 I gave Javen a sweet haircut. 

 Jackson and Gage love to play ninjas together. 

 Kaden practiced his driving with his new drivers permit. 

We went on a fun trip up Bunkerville Mountain with the Nelsons.  (Bailee and Lizzy)

 And played at lots of fun Mesquite parks. 

Marysvale Whitney Reunion

We didn't have all the kids the weekend of the Marysvale Whitney reunion but Bailee, Kaden, Randy and I headed up. Traffic in the gorge has been bad with the construction for months now. While we were stopped in traffic I climbed through the back truck window and got us some waters. People were giving me thumbs ups in the other cars. 

It's so beautiful up there. Bailee and Kaden had fun riding around on the 4-wheelers. 

The view from the top of the hills is amazing. 

We had fun playing games in Grandma and Grandpas trailer at night.

Grandpa always takes us neat places. 

This time he took us to a bridge and James decided to jump off it!

The water was FREEZING but he wanted to do it!

We didn't have a rope so we tied an extension cord around him just incase he needed help getting out. 

Crazy little man did it!

The Grandpa took us shooting at the Marsyvale gun range. 

Uncle Dennis always has neat games and mountain man stuff set up for everyone. 

The kids had a great time playing down by the river by our campground. 

Emma Lynn had a wiggly tooth.
