Gage's Class Party

I signed up to do 1 party per kid this year and Gage's was Halloween.

We made spider cup cakes.

The kids had fun decorating.

Happy Halloween!!

Annual Pumpkin Run

Every year Virgin Valley Elementary School does a pumpkin run. Each grade races across the field and the first 30 kids get a pumpkin.

Anna got a little skeleton.

Gage and Jackson got little paper pumpkins.

Isaac made it into the top 30 and got a real pumpkin.

They all ran their hardest and had fun.

Home Coming Dance

This year Kaden and Bailee went to the Homecoming Dance.

Kaden is a Junior and went with his girlfriend Amy Waite and a group of friends.

Bailee is a freshman and went with a group of her friends to the dance.

Cub Scouts

Isaac has been having a good time in his new cub scout group in Mesquite.

He's been getting awards

Doing skits

and all kinds of fun activities.

One activity was each scout had to make and run their own carnival game. Isaac chose to do the game where you throw a ping pong ball and if it lands in a cup you get to keep the gold fish that was in it. We had a crazy time getting the fish there (they kept dying) but it turned out great. It was the busiest games there - everyone wanted a fish and I think everyone got one!

Jackson LOVED playing this game - the lady was nice and let him do it about 100 times. She mixes the cups around and if you can keep your eye on the cup with the candy and guess it right you get to keep the candy.

It was a fun night.

Elbow Canyon

We took a great trip up Elbow Canyon with Grandma and Grandpa.

We got the 4-wheelers the donuts and Anna and Grandpa loaded.

The boys had their bb guns and were ready to go.

When we got up to our little picnic spot there was a neat labyrinth built. In the middle was a pile of money - an offering to the Gods. We made sure not to touch it. It was fun to walk the little path.
