Summer's Coming!

Last weekend  it was nice and warm so we ran down to Ace and got us a pool.  There is no water in it yet in this picutre cause Daddy is hooking up the hose to the water heater to give us warm water!  Fancy!  A heated pool.
I actually don't have any pictures with water in the pool because once there was water I was in it too.  No one needs to see pictures of an 8 month pregnant woman in a little pool with two kids.

Mommy and Issac Camping Trip

Isaac and I went on our own camping trip last weekend.  I wanted to do a fun trip just with him before I had the baby.  My plan was actually to go Red Cliffs Campground becuase it would still be warm, they have some neat trails, a  little river and not too far away.  But of course when we got there it was all filled up and we were both pretty bummed - Isaac mostly becuase he wanted out of the car.  I called my Dad (in Texas) and he said to try Oak Grove campground.  You turn through Leeds Utah go through the old town of Silver Reef and then drive way out to the base of Pine Valley Mountain.  I really didn't expect it to be that far up there and by the time we finally found it it was dusk and very cold.  I didn't prepare for being that high up in elevation but we built a fire and then set up camp.  From the time we got on the dirt road out of Silver Reef till the time we got back the next day we did not see one soul. It was kinda weird and kinda nice.  The campground was amazingly beautiful I want to go back soon.
The first thing Isaac did was set up his equipment and start building roads.  He didn't care how cold it was.
It got to dark to take pictures of our yummy Maccaroni and Cheese dinner we made that night.  Isaac did a good job at gathering pieces of wood and feeding the fire.

We made it through the cold night in our tent.
We got up the next morning and made our favorite oatmeal.
Then we started exploring and hiking around.
You really are nestled right at the base of the mountain. It is really neat.
Anytime we would find a good place to dig we would unload our backpack and play for a while.
There were still patches of snow all around for us to slide and play in.
We even found a neat gazebo hidden in the trees to play in.
It was a camping trip I know I will always remember with my little Isaac and I hope he will always remember too.
