Isaac's 1st Grade Adventure

Isaac is now in 1st Grade! He was excited for his first day of school. He loves learning and playing with his friends at recess. 

 He is also excited about his new Skylanders backpack and lunch box. 

 Anna and Jackson are not so excited for him to be gone ALL day long! (neither is his Mom)

 They told him they wouldn't let him go.

 We parked at the Dalley's house across from the school and walked over together. 

 Everyone was wearing blue shirts!!

 Anna wanted nothing to do with pictures this morning.

 We found his class and Mrs. Wiley. Time to line up.

.....and he's gone!

He had a great first day and is really enjoying his class. His teacher told him, "everyday is a fun day in my class!" We shall see.

After we left Jumpin Jacks we all headed up to Cannonville to go to our Nelson Family reunion on Saturday.

 We went down to visit Grandma Bonnie and out in her field there was a guy trying to take off in his parachute. He finally got off the ground and we watched him fly around Cannonville. 

 The kids thought it was so cool

 It was such a beautiful evening. 

 This buckin horse that Grandpa Bill made has been there since i was a little girl.

 Back at the cabin, the boys making a "water line" to their fort. It's amazing how much trench they dug.

 They actually have pipes and a "meter box" buried here. 

 Saturday morning when we woke up in our trailer Marky brought us over some delicious cinnamon rolls that his Mom made. Mmm Mmm Mmm!

 It was the morning of Isaacs 7th birthday!!! He talked me into letting him open one present first thing.

 A little bit later we gathered in the cabin (it was raining outside) for Emma and Isaac's party. 

 This year I made brownies instead of cake for Isaac. He doesn't like cake but he LOVES brownies.

 Isaac got a card from Uncle Chris and Aunt Karissa from Oregon with a 5 dollar bill in it!

 He was SUPER excited to get the Skylanders Giants game.

 Emma came over to our trailer to watch a little movie with Anna on the bunk bed. 

Then we headed over to the park for the big family reunion. 

 Gina, Leshelle and Ashley.

 They had some delicious dutch oven food. 

 The kids ran around and played. 

 Then they called Alana, Breanna, Emma and Isaac all up on the stage to sing them Happy Birthday. They all have their Birthday on the 10th. 

 Uncle Mark brought a pinata and they let the birthday kids hit first.

 Then we had some musical numbers. Uncle Rob did some along with some of his Grand daughters. Dad and Kristi joined him on a few and then we played and sang some.

It was a great weekend and lots of fun. Isaac had an awesome birthday and I can't believe he is 7 years old. They wore themselves right out and slept half of the way home.
