Fun on Christmas Break

Christmas break went by way to fast this year. The whole Christmas season seemed to go by in the blink of an eye. We did lots of fun things and enjoyed all our Christmas traditions and family fun. One thing we did over break was go to Jumpin Jacks. The kids love to go run, jump slide and play.

Putting Up the Playset

Uncle Dustin, Josh Jensen, Bryce Adams and Don Whipple came over to put up the playset. It was such a HUGE job and they were so so so nice to do it.

The kids liked to sit on the trampoline and watch the progress. Anna's hair always goes crazy staticky on the tramp and sticks out all over!

 The old swing set.

Grandma brought Grandpa over to see all the happenings. It was his first outing after his knee surgery.
 Jackson and his drawings.
 Monkey bars going up.
 Here comes the roof!

 The kids all waiting eagerly.
Isaac got Rudy out to play on the new playset.
And it's finished!! The kids absolutely LOVE it and we are so grateful for all the hard work those guys did!

Christmas Morning!

Of course the boys got up first and came and got me to show me that Santa brought them a swing set!! (at least a picture of one on a box)

 They were super excited!!
We went and got Anna up and opened stockings.

 On to the presents.
Isaac showing his cute little block that the Primary gave him that says, "I Am a Child of God".

 Computers....
 shovels....
 all kinds of things!
 Happy!

Jackson had to get Rudolph to join in the fun.
Anna showing the chapstick on her lips that Aunt Karissa made and sent us. (I cannot look at this with out laughing)
Isaac playing the new tablet that Santa brought them.
And of course, hugs for Rudolph... Merry Christmas Rudy.

Christmas Eve

The longest standing tradition of all....our progressive dinner on Christmas Eve. This year though my Dad just had knee surgery so we just stayed at their house so he could still be there for all of it.

We had a delicious dinner and a great time all being together.

 Grandma passing out the Wassil
 Matie Mae looked SO adorable.
So did Uncle Dustin and Uncle Corey.
I lost my camera for about 20 minutes or so and that just happened to be the time when Aunt Kristi did a fun game of passing around presents while she read a story. And then the kids all dressed up like Shepherds, Wise Men and Angels and acted out their parts while Uncle Dustin read the Christmas Story from the Bible.
 We'll remember it though.
After the kids were all snug in their beds I snuck into the living room and took a picture of what Santa brought.
A last look at the Christmas village.
And to all a good night.
