I love all our Christmas Eve traditions.
This year was our year to be with the Nelsons and for our progressive dinner we started at our house in Mesquite.
We had wassil and 7 layer dip.
After everyone left the house and we were getting ready to head to Logandale, I snuck back into the garage, grabbed the 8 blankets I had been working on for months for the kids and put them in the living room with the other present to see when we got home. Every year they get to open one present on Christmas Eve and this year it was their quilts I made.
(I love this picture of Bailee) Next we went to Grandma and Grandpa Nelsons house. The Grandkids played some Christmas music that they had been practicing. And of course we ate yummy food.
Then we went to Uncle Dustin house and the kids got to ice cookies and eat them.
Then we went to Aunt Kristi's house. She always writes and amazing cute story where we pass present around in a circle every time she says the words right and left. She also had a fun and yummy hot cocoa bar.
Allie and Elise sang us a beautiful song. And then it was off to our own homes.
When we got back to Mesquite the kids opened their Christmas Eve blankets and then went and snuggled up in their beds with visions of sugar plum fairies dancing in their heads.
