Friday evening we walked outside to look over and see the sky filled with smoke! The brush near our house was on fire and spreading quickly! Before we knew it the neighbor was filled with on-lookers, fire trucks and police. There was a possibility that it could reach our home so I got the kids, violins and guns out and then we had kind of a neighborhood party watching it all go down. The fireman saved all the homes and several hours later they had it out. Made for an interesting evening.
The Logandale/Overton, Las Vegas, and Bunkerville Fire Departments were all called out. It was a huge fire that covered a lot of ground.
