1st Day of Kindergarten

The big day came, our little world is forever changed, Isaac started Kindergarten. He was pretty excited and he is definitely ready but it's still a little hard to let go. It was the only morning he slept later than 6:30 am the entire summer, I had to wake him up at 7:30. So weird. He was very excited to wear his transformer shirt and new Sketcher shoes.

Loading up to head down to the bus stop.
Two houses down from us is Isaac's friend Kaylee and they were very excited to be able to ride on the bus together. They are both starting Kindergarten but have different teachers.
There are a lot of kids at our bus stop.
Kaylee's Mom Marissa ,and the kids.
My Camera is too slow and I only got a tiny bit of him getting on the bus but that's him!
I told him that after he got on the bus I would hurry and drive to the school to make sure he got off the bus and on to the playground okay but unfortunately I didn't beat the bus. We were the last stop and then they went straight to the school.
I just met him on the playground and we got to stay and play until it was time for them to go into the classroom.
They have a fun little playground to play on.
 Isaac and Kaylee.
 Me and Isaac.
James, Isaac and Emma. James and Emma can't wait till they can go to school!!
Isaac's new teacher, Mrs. Williams. He is lucky because he already knows her from church and we know she is going to be an awesome teacher. (I can't get him to smile normal - it's his new thing.)
 Isaac, Jackson and James.
When it's time to go in they have them all line up against the fence and yell "By" to their parents.  I tried my hardest not to cry but I just couldn't help it. Even thinking about it now makes me cry. I just can't believe he's all grown up!

After we got all the kids dropped off we walked across the street to Kristi's house and let all the kids who didn't get to start school yet play together for a while. And so us Mom's wouldn't be so sad about not having  our big kids with us. Before I knew it, it was time to walk back across the street and make sure Isaac got back on the bus okay. He did totally awesome and loved riding the bus. The ride back to Overton is about 45 minutes with all the stops, but I think he will do okay.
Walking in a line back to the bus. (and Kaylee's Mom) I got to talk to his teacher for a minute and she said he did so good. She said she used him a lot to help her show the other kids how to do things. I'm so proud of him.
Back on the bus. The first day of school was a success!
