Jumpback

Me, Isaac, Jackson and the puppy went up on Jumpback in the rhino today.  It was such a beautiful day you can see a tiny bit of the blue blue resivoir in the background.

It was so fun to run and play in the sand with our shoes off.

The sand was actually a little hot on our feet but if you kept moving it was good.

Isaac was making different prints in the sand.

Jackson mostly hung out in the rhino -  because he loves to drive it and because he just wants to eat the sand if I put him down.  I know that hat is ridiculous but it is the only one with a strap on it to keep him from pulling it off!

Jackson's First Birthday

Jacksons Birthday is April 14th.  We had a little family birthday party for him.  I can not believe he is 1!!

His cousins and brother helped him open his presents.

I don't think he quite knew what was going on but he would get excited over each present and then not understand why we were taking it away to open the next one.

When we opened his last present he got very excited.  It was a little 4-wheeler that you scoot around on.  

He didn't want to wait for us to get the box off before he got on.  We were kind of suprised he knew right what to do.

He would push the buttons and dance and wave his arms when the music played.

Isaac wanted to get on with him but Jackson wasn't too happy about it.

Then came the Birthday Cake.  Isaac and I had a great time making it.

He wasn't gettin off his wheeler for nothin.

Kristi put Emma on back.  I am sure Emma will be a crazy driver like her Mom.

Everyone loves Aunt Lauren!

Jackson just kept reaching and reaching for Grandpa Whitney.  He was so happy when he would hold him.

What a fun Birthday.  We love our Jackson!

Fair Time Again!

We were all excited for the fair this year - escpecially Isaac.  Grandma and Grandmpa Nelson sent the grandkids each five dollars in the mail to spend at the fair.  Isaac spent his on the bungee jump trampoline thing.  He loved it.

Started out with some little jumps....

...and then he was going so high in the air!

 Brian took Isaac and his friend Ty Jensen on the ferris wheel.  I really wanted to go but the Carnies  wouldn't let me because I am pregnant.  That is two years in a row!

So fun!

Brian snuck Jackson onto the merry-go-round too and he smiled the whole time.

The airplane with the gun is one of the favorites.

Brian was a great sport and took them into all the fun houses and the rides that they couldn't go on by themselves. 

I was so happy I had this double stroller.  Isaac sat in it a lot too.  Me and the boys went for about 4 hours on Thursday and then on Friday we went many hours again with Brian.  Jackson was such a good boy just sitting in his stroller and watching all the activity. 

My cousin Larrys daughter Millie went on some rides with us too.  She is a cutie.

We ran into my Aunt Susan and she ended up hanging out with us for a while.  It was very fun to have her along.

It was a beautiful morning and I'm glad we did our outside things early because it got pretty windy later on.
